The local Police chief of Badajoz, (near the Portuguese border) Miguel Sardinia, is under investigation after he was found to be involved in a traffic accident as he drove the wrong way around a roundabout.
The occupants of the other car suffered some broken bones but were later released from hospital, whilst Mr Sardinia is on leave having undergone cardiovascular surgery last week.
Oh the joys of driving in Spain and the lottery of roundabouts, what chance do we mere mortals have if the police can’t get it right!
