Storm Damage To Calpe October 2007

I wouldn't buy on the Costas, these freak storms were heaviest in the Valencia and Alicante regions, and stretched from inland to the coast, inland the rivers were swollen beyond recognition but generally speaking the volume of water did not pose a threat, however on the Costa's wide areas of coastline were decimated.



We went to Calpe two weeks after the storms and most areas were back to normal, however, there was still a huge clean up operation going on in the worst affected areas, underground car parks were still flooded, and the mud is deep dirty and slippery, it must be a nightmare for the poor people affected.
