Every person who buys a house in Spain will have some sort of bank or building society account, and when the time comes to buy, most people leave the transferring of funds to that bank or building society.
That's exactly what we did 3 years ago, but now we're older and much much wiser, did you know it's possible to save £4,000 on a £200,000 transfer? We didn't. That money could have been spent on a new kitchen, bathroom, or put towards a new car or swimming pool.
