Yesterday morning, Development minister, Magdalena Alvarez, reopened Barajas airport's Terminal 4 car park, that was destroyed by an ETA car bomb at the end of December last year.
Two Ecuadorian immigrants - Carlos Alonso Palate and Diego Armando Estacio died in the attack and as a tribute to the two victims the spaces where their bodies were found will be permanently unused.
Ms Alvarez described the reopening of the car park building as "a palpable example of our society's resources and its immense capacity to recover from terrorist attacks."
