Wind, snow, rain and hail across the country today

Well so far the predicted high winds, rain and snow (41 provinces on red-alert) has not materialised in our region.

Snowfall is expected as far south as Jaén and Granada, and winds could exceed 70 kilometres per hour (over 30 knots) in Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Teruel, and all of Andalucía, among other areas.

Almería, Girona, Mallorca and Menorca are also expected to be hit by extreme weather conditions today, reveals the state meteorological agency, AEMET.

Overall temperatures have been predicted to will fall today and tomorrow in the west of Spain, also on the Costa del Sol and in the Canary Islands.

I can definitely tell you that temperatures have certainly dropped, and for this area in next 9 days it will not rise above 19 C, and during the night a very cold 6 C.

Now where are those thermals?
